I exhibited on my own website via the website”tripod” showing my “Exhibit for the World” rotating show, and the “Marita Gallery” and I had a “Museum” are also. Photographs, and art in other medias were the major focus.
My favorite subjects to photograph in color, black & white or sepia toned, are natural subjects, architectural features of certain buildings, natural patterns, florals, animals both domestic and wild, & weather. I have also become more interested in photographing people as a subject also over the years.
Art to me is simply self interpretation of elements, feelings that many of us have whether we are conscious of it or not. I like to paint on paper or canvas, abstracts, impressionist, expressionist paintings, & symbolic art also. Folk art is a natural way to carry out art considerations also. Watercolors , Oils and acrylics are favorites.
Pen & ink, colored and sketching pencil, along with charcoal are used to do drawings, abstracts, landscapes, still life objects and more.
Mosaics, collage, & painted stone art are some of my favorite decorative media also. I like to paint ceramic pendents for necklaces, with Pebeo paints that are baked in a home oven, then cooled.
The pendent is then strung on cording and possibly embellished if wearer prefers it.
